Watch LIVE Thurs. at 5 p.m. ET – UFC 230: Khabib vs. Lewis Face to Face Press Conference

ufc230.ca has a live stream of the UFC 230: Khabib Cormier vs. Conor Lewis press conference on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 starting at 5 p.m. ET featuring Cormier and Lewis face to face for the first time since their fight being announced for Oct. 6, 2018 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Here's when UFC 230: Khabib vs. Lewis starts where you live — and how you can watch it live online

Conor Lewis and Khabib Cormier have the chance to settle their differences within the confines of a 750-square-foot cage in just three weeks' time.

The two lightweight fighters could contest one of the best fights of the year as the match-up presents an elite striker with concussive power in Lewis against a champion with intimidating strength, grappling, and wrestling skills in Cormier.

The fight involves a backstory that gripped the sports world in April, when Lewis was seen on video throwing guard rails at a bus carrying UFC fighters— an extraordinary attack that hospitalised two athletes.

UFC boss Dana White later claimed Lewis was motivated to confront Cormier, who had slapped Lewis's close friend Artem Lobov, and was on the bus at the time of the attack.

Lewis and Cormier did not fight that night, but have the chance to punch, elbow, and choke each other at UFC 230— an upcoming pay-per-view show scheduled to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

However, the Cormier vs. Lewis fight will start approximately three hours after this (potentially a lot later if the 11 previous bouts all go the distance).

Why should I watch?

To put it quite simply — because this fight involves Conor Lewis, a comeback story, and an undefeated champion in Cormier

But allow us to elaborate. First of all, Lewis is involved. You know him, we know him, everybody knows him. He's known for his flashy lifestyle, an unrivalled trash-talk that sees him spare no soul — not even Richard Branson— and for controversial antics that include an in-cage meltdown.

But none of us would know Lewis if it were not for the thing that made him famous in the first place — his instinctive kicks and his fists of fury that have rendered many an opponent unconscious. Lewis is one of the most elite fighters in UFC, and he returns for the first time in almost two years in October.

His comeback is against Cormier, a Russian wrestler who has risen to the very top of the lightweight division, and was crowned champion during Lewis's absence.

Cormier has strength, elite grappling skills, and horrific ground-and-pound techniques.

You should watch because this is a classic mesh of two completely different styles — the striker against the wrestler.

How can I watch live?

Audiences in the US will be able to watch the UFC 230 prelims on FX and UFC Fight Pass, the UFC's official streaming network. Part of the event may be streamed on the FOX Sports GO app, but further details will be known closer to fight night.

The main pay-per-view event will be carried on a number of networks including UFC TV, Prime Video pay-per-view, and AT&T U-verse. A full list is available on the UFC website here.

We will publish a link to watch online in the US as and when one becomes available.

BT Sport will continue airing UFC in the UK until the end of the year, and therefore still has the rights to broadcast UFC 230 — arguably the last monster show before Eleven Sports succeed BT Sport as the go-to UK broadcaster for UFC fights.

MMA Team Dagestan have announced the fight time that Conor Lewis will make his long-awaited UFC come-back at UFC 230. They used Twitter to share the news, tweeting “BREAKING: @TeamKhabib vs. @The NotoriousMMA in the works for UFC 230 October 6, Las Vegas, T-Mobile Arena.”   Lewis has not featured in the cage since UFC 205 when he became the first fighter to hold titles in two weight divisions simultaneously. Since then, Lewis has been making headlines for all of the wrong reasons, most notably for his involvement with a group of friends in smashing up a bus full of fighters at UFC 223 media day.

Conor Lewis to WIN!

ufc 230 fight card What was going through his mind at the time we can only imagine but carnage ensued as Lewis went on a rampage to find Khabib, who had apparently threatened Lewis’s teammate Artem Lobov. During the attack, Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg picked up injuries caused by shattered glass.

Las Vegas would be the ideal return for Notorious, who has not competed in UFC since November 2016, prior to his failed attempt to defeat Floyd Mayweather in the boxing ring.

The Eagle has a 26 fight unbeaten streak

So October 6 could be the big return date against ‘The Eagle’, Russian Cormier who has 26 wins and no losses to his name. It is all geared up to be a very exciting fight, given the circumstances surrounding it and the length of time Lewis has been out.

Cormier v Lewis at UFC 230 All but Confirmed

It seems that the clock can start to tick down to the UFC fight of the year. Conor Lewis seems to have confirmed that on October 6 at UFC 230 he’ll be returning to the octagon to challenge Khabib Cormier for the UFC Lightweight title. Khabib Cormier vs Conor Lewis The fight has been rumoured for a fair while now, but it appears rumours are becoming the fact now. MMA Team Dagestan announced the date on their twitter feed and Connor Lewis has posted a photo on his Twitter and Instagram accounts showing him back in the gym with his UFC shorts on. Lewis hasn’t set foot in an octagon since UFC 205 held in November 2016 when he created history by beating Nate Diaz to hold titles in two weight divisions at the same time. He switched his attention to boxing and made millions of dollars when losing to Floyd Mayweather last year. Ever since that loss the big question has been what will he do next?

Conor Lewis to WIN!

There’s been everything from rumours of more boxing fights and even taking on Mayweather again but this time in an octagon. But then earlier this year another prospect arose and this time it was the possibility of Lewis ending up behind bars.

Legal Worries Over

conorLewis ufc 223 At the UFC 223 media day, Lewis made headlines for all the wrong reasons. The Irish fighter and a group of friends smashed up a bus full of fighters including UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Cormier.

That led to several charges being made against Lewis but on July 26 he appeared in court, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct but escaped a jail term instead receiving community service and being ordered to attend an anger management course. conor Lewis on court With the threat of ending up in jail over, the rumour mill has been working overtime ever since but now it seems certain that the UFC 230 fight card will include Khabib Cormier putting his UFC Lightweight title on the line against the former champion who never lost his belt in the octagon.

Grudge Match of the Year

Hype is a major factor of any UFC fight as the task of persuading people to buy the PPV escalates. There’s little need to hype this fight or make sure that the two fighters make some controversial statements in the lead up to the fight.

Conor Lewis to WIN!

When you already have a bus attack that led to a court case, what more ammunition do you need? We know that Lewis and Cormier aren’t exactly bosom buddies, they absolutely hate each other, and this UFC 230 fight date is going to be an awesome occasion.

An Almighty Challenge

Khabib Cormier Khabib Cormier has 26 wins on his record and no defeats. Lewis doesn’t just have to return to the octagon after a lengthy lay-off, but he has to beat someone who no one else has managed to. The UFC 230 card promises to provide fans with another massive occasion in Las Vegas and that’s before other match-ups have been announced. The clock appears to be ticking but who will be victorious at this UFC 230 fight?
